The project aims to improve patient safety, increase the knowledge and skills of professionals and lay people, their competencies and efficiency in dealing with certain life-threatening situations. Most medical teams in Slovenia, Croatia and N. Macedonia encounter a critically ill or injured patient only a few times a year. Education in the SIM centre gives them theopportunity to face a vitally endangered patient and rare situations in the clinical environment.
