New workshop for approaching a critically ill patient with anaphylactic shock with a new group of basic instructors in Center for family medicine in Skopje

During the working visit of the partners of the Transsimed Project from CHC Ljubljana and CHC Zagreb, in the period of 11-13 September 2024 in Skopje, the Center for Family Medicine, Medical Faculty Skopje – UKIM, successfully organized a new workshop on,,Approaching a critically ill patient with an anaphylactic shock using ABCDE protocol,,.

It was an opportunity for the 7 new Basic instructors to complete the education process in front of Mr.Uros Zafosnik, the head of the SIM Center at CHC Ljubljana, who evaluated their work. This workshop was very important for the Center for family medicine for two reasons: the whole education process – theoretical and practical, was conducted by the Macedonian advanced and basic instructors and also it was the first simulation training with a standardized patient. All instructors achieved excellent results, fostering a safe environment for the participants to renew their knowledge and skills and also for the standardized patient.

The excellent feedback from both the evaluator and the participants means we continue to educate primary care medical teams for urgent situation with simulation method to achive higher level of patient safety.
