Simulation in healthcare is a concept that has recently been widely misused. While many healthcare professionals emphasize the importance of using simulation for education, in practice, this often translates to purchasing a ‘plastic doll’ with a limited level of realism. The Transsimed project aims to bring simulation training closer to a broader range of professionals and to underscore its true value. As a result, we have created an informative video that provides a detailed overview of the standard simulation training process: 1. theoretical introduction, 2. development of practical skills, 3. execution of simulations, and 4. debriefing.
Instructors associated with the Transsimed International Project will have the opportunity to utilize this video as an introduction to the training sessions, where they will elucidate the operational procedures within the Simulation Centre.
