From 29 May to 2 June 2023, we conducted the “Train the trainers- basic instructors” training at the SIM Centre of the Ljubljana Health Centre as part of the Transsimed project.

They consolidated and mastered important content for the independent work of a basic instructor in the simulation centre: Fidelity in sim centre; Realism and Moulage; Mobile simulation; Simulated patients; Human Factors; Non- technical skills; Team working; Interprofessional simulation; Gamification; In situ simulation.

The week ended with a self-paced “Basic life support” module, using all the necessary steps of the healthcare simulation training standard: theoretical part (delivered through gamification), manual skills, simulation and debriefing. The participants were more than excellent.
